Q: What is Liv-Herbal Formula?
A: Liv-Herbal Formula is made from a blend of all natural herbal extracts. The directions for the preparation and dosage intake are on the product label.

Q: Are there any side-effects?
A: Since 2002, Liv-Herbal Formula has been taken along with other prescription and non-prescription medications by thousands of our customers in many countries, and by cancer patients (as part of our cancer treatment program). There have been no reported side-effects. In the event of any drug toxicity or side-effects, the liver would be the primary organ to be affected, resulting in elevated liver enzymes. Since Liv-Herbal Formula normalizes elevated liver enzymes and has saved many last stage liver patients, it is very unlikely that such a product can have any side-effects, Since 2002, we have not received a single complaint of any adverse reaction.

Q: How soon can one see the results?
A: In most cases one can feel the recovery within 3 – 5 days of using Liv-Herbal Formula. Based on clinical lab tests, one should see the improvement within 1 – 3 weeks (for example, a reduction in the viral load and elevated liver enzymes).

Q: What is the dosage?
A: In severe cases where the patient is hospitalized due to liver problems, one 80g jar, when taken in three doses a day, will last for sixteen days. In mild cases, one jar will be enough for a month (when taken in two doses a day). After the recovery, patients may not need to take Liv-Herbal Formula on a regular basis. If the cause of the liver disease is Hepatitis B or C, Autoimmune Disease, or Alcohol related, then 3 - 4 maintenance doses per week is highly recommended.

Q: Can it be taken with interferon?

Q: Can Liv-Herbal Formula be taken as a precaution?
A: Yes, it can be taken as a preventive medicine. It is especially helpful in cases of individuals who drink regularly and patients who are Hepatitis B or C positive with no symptoms.

Q: How long is the course of treatment?
A: The duration of treatment varies from case to case depending on the severity of the disease. In general, if the liver problem is non-viral, once the elevated liver enzymes are back to normal, one can stop taking Liv-Herbal Formula.

In case of Hepatitis B or C once the elevated liver enzymes (ALT, AST) drop to normal with significant reduction in viral load, the dosage may be reduced to 1-2 times a day. In case of further recovery the dosage may be reduced to 3 times a week. If subsequent medical tests indicate progression of the disease, the dosage should be increased.

After initial recovery if Liv-Herbal Formula is taken 3-4 times a week, it is very unlikely that the disease will progress. In cases where individuals clear the virus and if 3 consecutive blood tests indicate the virus as not detectable, such individuals do not need to continue Liv-Herbal Formula.

Q: Does it help non-viral and non-alcoholic liver problem?
A: Yes. We have seen normalization of elevated liver enzymes in cases of autoimmune disease of the liver.

Q: Does it help liver related kidney failure?
A: Yes. Albumin is a protein synthesized in the liver. Low albumin results in decreased kidney filtration rate and in such cases albumin is given intravenously. Liv-Herbal Formula increases albumin production naturally and this increase in albumin helps restore normal kidney filtration.
